Veteran music composer Shravan Rathod of Nadeem-Shravan duo died of Covid-19 related complications on April 22. The entire industry has been in shock hearing the composer's untimely death. He had visited the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar before testing positive for coronavirus. Udit Narayan, who collaborated with Nadeem-Shravan on several projects, revealed that the late composer called him from the Kumbh.

As the country sees a drastic surge in the cases fs COVID-19 many politicians, Bollywood celebs and other famous personalities have contracted the virus. Now, popular music director Shravan Rathod, of Nadeem-Shravan fame, has been hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19. And as per reports, his condition is said to be critical, and is currently in Raheja Hospital, Mahim, Mumbai. Dr. Kirti Bhushan, who is overseeing the musician’s care at the hospital, confirmed to ETimes that Shravan is undergoing the necessary treatment. He said, 'Shravan Rathod is on ventilator support and his condition is critical. There is a bit of heart enlargement and his pumping has been affected. We are taking the necessary steps for the same. We have made a medical team of physicians, cardiologists, a diabetologist, and an intensivist, all of who are overseeing his care'. When ETimes contacted Shravan's close friend, lyricist Sameer, he stated that the singer is in a critical condition. Sameer added, 'Shravan is diabetic and with this infection, his lungs have been totally infected. He has also developed heart issues, please pray to God almighty for his speedy recovery'. Now, talking about the work front, the Nadeem-Shravan duo ruled hearts with their top compositions in the 90s.
