More than two dozen Arizona organizations have laid out their 2024 environmental priorities. Sandy Bahr, director of the Grand Canyon Chapter of the Sierra Club, said while their goals are similar to those of past years, they are now being presented in what she calls "a context of water." At a news conference at the State Capitol, Bahr acknowledged it can be a challenge to get bills heard on topics like green energy, land and wildlife protection but she contended they are part of a crucial battle for Arizona s longevity.
