Legislators consider expanding outdoor dining rules permanently
HINGHAM — Local restaurant owners who've struggled to abide by COVID-19 mandates and keep their doors open are now worried that the lifting of those very restrictions may be what brings them down. Gov. Charlie Baker announced Monday that he plans to lift mask orders and capacity restrictions for restaurants by Memorial Day weekend and lift the state of emergency order on June 15.
