UPDATE as of Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday off Humesline Parkway which left a York County woman dead. On Tuesday at approximately 8:33 a.m. James City County police officers, the fire department and EMS responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Route 199 Humesline Parkway about a half-east from the Longhill Road exit, according to a JCC PD news release. Police said a tow truck that had stopped to tow a vehicle stuck in the median had parked partially in the left lane. “A 2003 Jeep Wrangler traveling in the left lane struck the tow truck from behind,” according to police. “The impact caused the Jeep to go into the right lane where it was struck by a 2018 Honda CRV.” ....
