Caseville Road closure scheduled for March 9-10 FacebookTwitterEmail The Huron County Road Commission will be closing a portion of Caseville Road March 9-10. The road will be closed between Campbell and Crown roads so crews can perform soil boring in preparation for a bridge replacement project slated for 2022. According to the road commission, drivers in the vicinity of Campbell and Crown will encounter single lane closures until the boring tests are completed. (Tribune File Photo) The Huron County Sheriff’s Department helped save a 54-year-old man from deep snow on Friday after having an apparent medical emergency. Sheriff Kelly Hanson said in a press release that on Feb. 26, shortly before noon, sheriff’s officers were dispatched to the scene at Crocker Road south of Minnick Road in Lincoln Township. The man and two others were running beagle dogs through the woods when he was overcome by the snow. ....
