BATON ROUGE - The state is opening a program that will provide temporary housing for storm victims in areas hit hardest by Hurricane Ida.
Gov. John Bel Edwards has announced that the state of Louisiana is opening the Hurricane Ida Sheltering Program, which will provide temporary housing, like travel trailers, to people in heavily impacted parishes where other sheltering options are currently unavailable.
