KY 351/Second Street to be reduced to one lane in each direction

Officials with the I-69 Ohio River Crossing say lane closures will be in place first week of April. Officials say as crews begin reconstructing the KY 351 interchange as part of Section 1 of the I-69 Ohio River Crossing, lane restrictions are scheduled for the first week of April. KY 351/2nd Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from in front of North Middle School to the US 41 southbound ramps. The closures will allow crews to install new under-the-road storm drainage, along with completing other work in the area.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville Trail Coalition is asking for public input about the new I-69 Bridge to Henderson in hopes of making it more pedestrian-friendly.
Trail coalition officials are concerned with safety of the current bridge model. They say with how much money is going into the project, anyone should be able to use it.
Officials say the current bridge design will not be accessible to bikers or pedestrians.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A virtual public meeting is on the books Thursday to discuss the future of the I-69 Ohio River crossing.
Officials say the meeting is an opportunity for people to learn more about the next steps of the project, including the preferred alternative.
Right now, the model shows a four-lane I-69 bridge, which will be tolled.
The Twin Bridges will stay in use for local traffic.
That meeting is set for Thursday night at 6.
