The maiden sea sortie of the IAC Vikrant was successfully undertaken on August 2021. It is 262 meter long, 62 meter wide and 59 meter tall.
The President appreciated the efforts of Indian Navy and Cochin Shipyard towards development of indigenous capabilities in shipbuilding.
Admiral Karambir Singh was speaking to media persons on board the IAC Vikrant which is currently engaged in the second sea trial since October 24.
