Work is expected to begin on-site soon and the first homes are expected to be ready in Autumn 2021. - Credit: Alliance Homes Social housing provider Alliance Homes is set to provide 40 affordable properties on a housing development in a Somerset village. Alliance Homes will deliver 18 shared-ownership houses with a mix of two and three-bedroom and 22 social rent homes, which will consist of a range of apartments and houses, on Cheddar’s Holwell Lane development. The social housing provider signed a deal with Bloor Homes, the housebuilder which owns the Cheddar development, before Christmas and the deal meets the section 106 agreement to provide a balance of homes for shared ownership and social rent. ....
