MIAMI – To compensate for the slump affecting intercontinental flights, Iberia (IB), a member of the IAG Group, is extending its network to nearby Portugal, Azores Island, the Maldive Islands, and Slovenia.
As detailed in its press release, IB is adding its 114th route with a service from Madrid (MAD) to Azores Ponta Delgada (PDL), operated by Airbus 320, with departures on Wednesday at 07:25, arrival at 08:50, and Saturday at 11:25, arrival at 12:50. Return flights from PDL leave at 09:40 from PDL on Wednesday and arrive MAD at 15:00 and at 13:40 on Saturday and arrive at 19:00. All times are local.
In addition IB has increased its services to services to Portugal and, starting june 6, will also operate charter flights from Lisbon (LIS) and Oporto (OPO) on behalf of Viajes Abreu travel agency. ....
