We are in another Mahe Ramazan (Month of Ramadan), and I share with your readers a little bit of our Muslim history. Recognizing the efforts and sacrifices made by past generations to institutionalise Islam in Guyana, amidst a sea of evangelism, since times of slavery to the period of independence, we are grateful to them.
