The ten, $1,000 Kamal Kishore MD Scholarships will support students in a variety of healthcare careers including pre-med. Beginning this fall, the awards will cover tuition, books and related-expenses. A board certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist, Dr. Kishore is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria where he works with medical students seeking a career in ophthalmology. ....
