UPDATE No. 4: Heaviest impacts from Tropical Storm Calvin expected to begin between 8 and 10 p.m. Tuesday : Big Island Now

As of 8 p.m., Tropical Storm Calvin was about 150 miles south-southeast of Hilo and 130 miles southeast of South Point on the Big Island with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph.

Tropical storm conditions have ended. Locally gusty winds will likely continue today before easing tonight, with additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches possible on the Big Island as what was Calvin moves away from the state to the west.
