Wage hike in C. Visayas retroactive after June 14: DOLE exec

Ma. Teresa Tanquiamco, who heads the DOLE in Negros Oriental and Siquijor, told the Philippine News Agency that they are still awaiting the IRR after the Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board (RTWPB-7) in Central Visayas approved the wage adjustment recently. CSC working on IRR of law on gov't workers' night shift pay

MANILA - The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is working on the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 11701 granting a night shift differential pay to government employees. The law states that government employees rendering work beyond their regular schedule between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or those who need to put in additional work from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. of the following day will be qualified for the pay. The night shift differential pay is in addition to and shall not in any way diminish whatever benefits and allowances currently enjoyed by the government employees.
