Importing liquor to India gets pricey; reference price might be set to stop under-invoicing
India is looking forward to stopping the under-invoicing of alcohol by proposing a solution to set up "place valuation rules" that would require importers to pay customs duty based on a price fixed by customs authorities. This would prevent foreign brands from using under-invoicing to avoid high taxes.
