This one is no different. It is a portal, a gateway between one world and the next.”
Music, too, has long been an important catalyst for imagining, and indeed often enacting, new ways of living together in the world. Social theorist Jacques Attali famously wrote in his book ....

Much of an advantage do you think the senate impeachment trial really gives you? well, hallie, once again, in the trump era, we re finding, you ve just got to throw that political playbook out the window. and it s presidential politics by improvisation. we ve never seen any president run for re-election with the backdrop of an impeachment trial. so for the non-senators, it does give you that opportunity to do what a trial would require. you have to be physically present. you re certainly not going to be derelict in your duties as a senator in the trial. so for those non-senators, they get the press the flesh and do a lot of that last-minute work in those critical early primary states. but by krcontrast, you have to think about the democratic primary electorate. they re very sophisticated and they all know what s going on. i think there will be some tardy passes or some forgived absences for those senators that are participating in the trial, particularly when the national spotlight i ....

MSNBC The 11th Hour With Brian Williams October 17, 2019 08:44:00
