External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar yesterday met and discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation as well as those of key global and regional concern with prominent leaders, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during the Munich Security Conference, where he praised her guidance in strengthening India-Bangladesh relations. This was their first meeting since Hasina s reelection to a record fifth term. Jaishankar also met with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to discuss traditional medicine and pandemic preparedness. During his visit, Jaishankar also met with several other foreign dignitaries, including US Secretary of State Blinken and German Foreign Minister Baerbock, to discuss various global challenges and bilateral cooperation.
The two leaders were meeting on the sidelines of the prestigious Munich Security Conference, in its 60th edition, which is the world’s leading forum for debate on international security
