Indigo's clarification comes after two incidents of fraud involving flyers' tickets being cancelled without their consent.
'Indigo was refusing to accept the security lapse. Also, the tickets were worth more than Rs 72,000 and booking tickets again would mean a total expense of about Rs 1.5 lakh. How can a regular person afford that?' asked flyer Nishith Chaturvedi.
'Despite the clear evidence of fraud and the significant inconvenience caused, my attempts to seek resolution were initially met with minimal assistance,' 32-year-old resident of Koramangala, Mahasweta Pal, said.
