Indigo stated that the Delhi-Deogarh flights on January 30 and 31 were cancelled because of poor weather conditions in Deogarh.
Indigo's clarification comes after two incidents of fraud involving flyers' tickets being cancelled without their consent.
'Indigo was refusing to accept the security lapse. Also, the tickets were worth more than Rs 72,000 and booking tickets again would mean a total expense of about Rs 1.5 lakh. How can a regular person afford that?' asked flyer Nishith Chaturvedi.
Indigo requested passengers travelling during this period to download/print the boarding pass emailed to them.
'This happened in front of all passengers on board... I would request strict action… against Mr Kataria,' Indigo pilot Anup Kumar wrote in his FIR.
