<p><span>As volatility dropped to levels below the extraordinary peaks of the previous year, trading activity on SIX Swiss Exchange also stabilized in 2021. New all-time highs were reached by the Swiss Market Index SMI®, ending 20.3% higher than in the previous year. Facilitating capital raising with new offerings, SIX Swiss Exchange recorded five IPOs – including its first ever SPAC listing – while twelve new product issuers and three trading participants joined this year.</span></p>
