Lowering carbon's footprint was the biggest area of discussion throughout the National Ethanol Conference this week in New Orleans. Whether it is competing with electric vehicles or producing aviation fuel, there's a push to lower carbon intensity. Still, even as biofuels are committed to lower emissions, auto manufacturers have largely walked away from flex-fuel vehicles.
