American agribusiness and food company Cargill announced Wednesday that it has purchased cake decorations supplier Leman Decoration Group, expanding its offerings of decoration solutions to the bakery sector. Leman Decoration serves artisanal, small industrial and the home baking segments. Cargill said the firm will become part of its Global Gourmet and Distribution organization and focus on gourmet customers in Europe and other global markets. “By adding Leman Decoration Group to the Cargill family, we’re able to support our gourmet and industrial customers at every step in their journey – from concept to finished product,” Inge Detmeyere, managing director, Cargill Chocolate Europe, said in a company release. “Our dedicated Gourmet business will be a true one-stop shop for all t ....
