Clare FM 6th January 2021 The UL Hospitals Group has deferred the majority of scheduled surgery and outpatients appointments across five of it’s hospitals in the Midwest until further notice. The South/South West Hospital Group have issued a statement to say that the Emergency Department at Cork University Hospital (CUH) is “exceptionally busy today and over the last number of days”. Due to this increased level of activity and subsequent admissions, it is regrettable that some patients may experience a delay in the ED. Coronavirus: Cardigan's Minor Injuries Unit shuts as staff needed in other areas in Ceredigion

THE Minor Injuries Unit at Cardigan’s Integrated Care Centre has been shut. As part of its response to the coronavirus pandemic, Hywel Dda University Health Board has temporarily closed the unit in order to redeploy clinical staff to support the Covid-19 response within Ceredigion. The unit normally operates from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, will temporarily close with immediate effect.
