INS Vikrant Commissioning: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will shortly commission India`s first indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant at Cochin Shipyard Limited. He earlier unveiled the new Naval Ensign of the Indian Navy in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, CM Pinarayi Vijayan and other dignitaries.
Built at a cost of Rs 20,000 crore, the INS Vikrant will be the second operational aircraft carrier for India.
