Some years ago I taught a class in sustainable gardening at Granite State College, part of the University of New Hampshire system. I asked my students to buy âThe Garden Primerâ by Barbara Damrosch. This paperback is a compact 800 pages of readable, educational information about nearly every aspect of gardening. It came out in 2008, but is still in print. Everyone could benefit by owning it. ....
