Baltimore's Department of Public Works is waiting for the results of another water test after a microscopic parasite was detected in a reservoir last week.
Officials said low levels of a microscopic parasite were found during routine testing of Druid Lake Reservoir in Baltimore, Maryland.
The DPW said the levels of Cryptosporidium detected "indicate a low risk for the general population," meaning the water is safe to drink for most people.
