The awards recognise those who have put significant time and effort into ensuring projects become a reality to make a difference to the lives of the older generation.
The MIT AgeLab awarded five OMEGA scholarships to high school students across the United States who led or developed intergenerational programs — initiatives designed to bring together younger and older people — in their communities.
