Interlibrary loan and Document Delivery Policy

1. Introduction The National Library of Australia has provided interlibrary loan and document delivery (ILL/DD) services since its inception in 1960. These services are provided to libraries and organisations, as well as to individuals, both in Australia and overseas. Copies and loans are generally supplied from the Library’s own collections. The Library also offers mediated services to obtain copies and loans from other institutions on behalf of requesters. All services are provided on a cost-recovery basis. ....

Document Supply Service charges, payment methods and service levels

What is included in a request?
A loan of one monograph title, one microfiche title or up to 10 consecutive reels of a microfilm title per request; or
A copy of up to 25 consecutive pages from a publication for Australian and neighbouring Australia libraries. Any additional pages copied – charged at $4.40 per 25 pages or part thereof for Australian libraries and $4.00 for neighbouring Australia libraries. Hard copies in colour attract an additional $2.50 per page for Australian libraries and $2.25 for overseas libraries.
A copy of up to 25 consecutive pages from a publication for international libraries. Any additional pages copied - charged at $4.00 per 25 pages or part thereof. ....
