Cape Coral pool-cue craftsman is a rarity in Southwest Florida

Dave Sucher may have retired as a machinist and master tattoo artist, but there’s one thing he continues to do: make pool cues.
Sucher and his wife Peggy moved to Southwest Florida from Oahu, Hawaii, in November 2019. And when they bought a home in Cape Coral, Dave needed a three-car garage so he could have a shop.
“I never stopped, it’s always been a side job, a second job,” he said. “It’s therapeutic, I love it. There are aspects that drive me crazy. I paid a thousand dollars for a new program (to design cues). The electronic frustrations are crazy.” ....
