New study mapping entire genome of oral stem

New study analyzing oral stems cells opens new doors for regenerative medicine. Mapping the entire genome of two different populations of dental pulp and periodontal ligament stem cells, the study showed significant differences in both their genetic makeup and differentiation potential. These findings suggest the potential for using specific stem cells based on their distinct properties to create more targeted regenerative dental tissue repair and other regenerative therapies.
