PLATTSBURGH — All Independent candidate petitions filed with the Clinton County Board of Elections last week have since been invalidated.
Independent mayoral candidate Iris Cain did not file a document required under New York election law for independents, according to the Clinton County Board of Elections, and will not be allowed on the ballot.
