Port Harcourt The Isaac Ogbobula-led faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has hailed the Court of Appeal judgment that sacked Igo Aguma as chairman of the caretaker committee. It said the decision has brought sanity to the party. The party also expressed lack of confidence in the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) to conduct credible local government elections. Ogbobula, who spoke in Port Harcourt yesterday, said the judgment would enable the party work together for a common purpose. He said: “We hail Justices of the Court of Appeal for the erudite judgment delivered on Tuesday, particularly for restoring sanity and sending a clear message to lower courts to desist from unnecessarily meddling in the internal affairs of political parties.” ....
