Blackburn Magistrates Court. A WOMAN started to get aggressive with her boyfriend after she had drunk a bottle of vodka and eight cans on beer. Blackburn magistrates heard Catherine Reilly was asked to leave but responded by grabbing her partner by the throat and pinning him against the wall as she punched him multiple times in the face. Reilly, 28, of Gannow Lane, Burnley, pleaded guilty to assaulting Gary Veevers.
