Old Town Cape is set to kick off its Tunes at Twilight Spring Series.

<b>Old Town Cape’s </b>free concert series <b>Tunes at Twilight </b>returns for its spring series on May 12.The first performance will feature blues singer-songwriter John Long on vocals and guitar.<br/><br/>You can hear John Long at <b>Tunes at Twilight</b> at <b>7 p.m. </b>on <b>Friday, May 12,</b> at Ivers Square in downtown Cape Girardeau. Be sure to bring your blanket or lawn chair.<br/><br/>

On Saturday, June 17, the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau will host its second annual Juneteenth day celebration at Ivers Square from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

<b>Old Town Cape’s </b>free concert series <b>Tunes at Twilight </b>continues their fall season on Friday, August 26.<br/><br/>Next up is Miss Jenny and the Howdy Boys from Carbondale. Miss Jenny leads the band on powerhouse vocals, acoustic and songwriting along with Pedal Steel player and songwriter Dakota Holden. The group will be performing Bebop, Hard Bop, and Blues standards made famous by Miles Davis, Benny Golson, Bill Evans, Wayne Shorter and others.
