Speaking to mediapersons, Haider said the state government will send its delegations to several countries ahead of the next edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, to be held on January 10-12, 2024.

The Indian government is in talks with Tesla to establish a manufacturing facility in India, with the state of Gujarat expressing interest. Gujarat's Additional Chief Secretary stated that they are in touch with potential investors and will reach out to Tesla with the support of the central government. Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this year, and the company is looking to source components worth $1.9 billion from India.
