Prove 70% Of Nigerian Students Are Internet Fraudsters Or Retract 'Sweeping' Statement, NANS Tells Anti-Corruption Body, EFCC Boss
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has berated the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman, Ola Olukoyede, for labelling 70 per cent of university students as internet fraudsters. Olukoyede asserted while speaking on Monday with a delegation from Daar Communications PLC at EFCC headquarters in Jabi, Abuja that the majority of students were involved in cybercrime. In a statement on the anti-corruption agency’s X page, he also described internet-related crimes as a menace and cankerworm in society.
