Sandage and 5 other Illinois sheriffs win court battle over delayed inmate transfers
McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage says he's pleased by a court ruling that orders the state to take inmates deemed unfit for trial. Sandage and several other Illinois sheriffs sued the Illinois Department of Human Services over pandemic-related order from the Pritzker administration.
