Trout are feeding in the stocked streams and ponds while white perch, carp and holdover stripers are active in the brackish creeks.
Brook and rainbow trout take streamers in the rivers, white perch and carp bite in the tidal creeks, and holdover stripers are active in the East River and western bays of the Sound.
The fall tautog season kicks off with double-digit catches, bass and blues stalk peanut bunker and more on the South County beaches, and the RI DEM continues fall trout stocking.
