Located at 632 Grand Avenue, the Ruth House is a ministry during the day and then allows those who need a place to stay to check in between 9:30 and 10 pm to sleep in the building.
Volunteers plan to bring warm clothing, sleeping bags and more to local encampments in the Twin Ports three times a week.
The move will help focus efforts on the Ruth House. The nonprofit ministry will continue to serve free lunch and dinner daily at 632 Grand Ave.
