The anticipation has continued to mount, as gymnastics sat on the chopping block in front of the Sioux Falls School Board at Monday’s school board meeting. The school board approved the tentative budget which does not include gymnastics.

Gymnastics was budgeted at $76,094. The sport had a headcount of 58 athletes last school year, according to the district’s count.
