Jacque Danielsen, hired as an administrative assistant for the fire department in 1988, went on to positions of senior secretary and deputy city clerk before becoming city clerk in 2014.
The City Council voted unanimously Monday to appoint Administrative Supervisor Kim Kerr to the role effective Nov. 4.
