SPARE CHANGE: Remembering LeRoy White as he nears the end of his life
Jim Gillis Leave it to LeRoy White to scoop the street corner whisperers and coffee shop gossips when it comes to his own health. LeRoy posted this alarming news on his Facebook page this week. He is dying ... and wanted to thank friends and family and those who've shown him love through the decades and allowed him to show it back. I'm unsure who wrote LeRoy's farewell (in the third person), but they sound like his words and certainly his sentiments: "LeRoy will be transitioning through death soon and we would love all your prayers and good energy for a peaceful passage," the post reads.
