OK, fair enough: I didn’t know who Jake Sheaf was, either. But I looked him up, and it’s all rather impressive. Sheaf, it turns out, is one half of England’s number one ranked beach volleyball team and the owner of four European medals and five national titles (although he missed out on a medal at this year’s Commonwealth Games in Australia by finishing in fourth place).
