OAK ISLAND Sandra Jean Coutts, 75, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021. Born Aug. 11, 1945, in Hotchkiss, Colorado, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie Minerich and Dwyla Jean Bennett Minerich. She had retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Surviving is a son, James Brett Coutts (Carolyn) of Grand Junction, Colorado; daughter, Tamra Shiflet (Clint) of St. John’s Island, South Carolina; and grandchildren, Sierra Coutts, Zach Coutts, Alexsi Shiflet and Chase Shiflet.
