$15M wrongful death lawsuit against Newport News police officers who shot, killed man in his home can begin

Henry K. “Hank” Berry III was shot and killed inside his home by a Newport News police officer in 2019. Now that criminal cases against two of the involved officers have been resolved — one ending in acquittal and the other in a conviction — a $15 million wrongful death lawsuit can move forward.
