NEW YORK (Legal Newsline) - Holtec International says the State of New York has usurped the exclusive power of the federal government to regulate discharges at nuclear power plants.
A judge has ruled East Hampton can use revenue generated by its municipal airport's operations to pay for legal fees in a battle over the facility's future.
"District Attorney Tierney is presenting this case," spokeswoman Tania Lopez said.
"On the advent of Newsweek's 90th anniversary, it's heartening to know that the litigation is now behind us," Newsweek CEO Dev Pragad said.
East Hampton officials vowed to appeal the judge's ruling.
