The Aerospace Corp. has chosen James “Jim” Myers as vice president of civil systems operations. He brings 30 years of global security and information systems industry experience to the company. “Jim’s vast leadership experience, understanding of mission integration, and strong commercial partnerships will play a key role in our efforts to integrate the space enterprise,” said Aerospace President and CEO Steve Isakowitz. Prior to joining Aerospace, Myers served as vice president of programs for Northrop Grumman’s mission systems sector, leading the program management and execution of a $12 billion business. Before that, Myers was vice president of Northrop’s enterprise initiatives, partnering with industry in the commercial applications of the company’s technologies.

His own pizzeria was one of many structures swamped in the May 19 flood, and it remained closed for nearly half the year as he and his family worked to rebuild it. His restaurant might not be open today without all the help, donations and grants Brady received from family, friends and the community, he said.
