Sarah Taffer Blasius, of Terrell, passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2020 at her home with family at her side. Sarah was born Feb. 1, 1938 in Terrell and she was met in Heaven by her father, James M. Taffer, mother, Frances (Darst) Taffer Berry, her step father, William D. Berry, husband, Willie Jack Blasius and brother, Edward “Eddie” Taffer. Sarah graduated from Terrell High School in 1956 where, in addition to her academic aptitude, she was an accomplished tennis player on the THS team and was a Flag Bearer with the Color Guard.
