Cunningham was first charged with felony aggravated child abuse, which was upgraded to murder after the infants death. The court-martial will now enter the sentencing phase. Cunningham ended late Feb. 18, with the military judge sentencing SrA Cunningham to serve 18 years in a military prison, be reduced to the grade of Airman Basic, forfeit all pay and allowances, and to be discharged from the United States Air Force with a Dishonorable Discharge.
