The five staffers who were reported to have been shot have in fact been shot. you can imagine what the scene is right now and we re gathering all of our resources to get you any further information, the u.s. capitol police also involved in this and the condition of those who were shot at this point, not yet known. kelly: and just to remind you, what we were reporting earlier, is that her staff member, mr. michaels and gifforded or actually her public spokesperson, michaels was saying that giffords was talking to a couple when a man apparently ran up to them, firing indescriminately and then ran off. according to this report he was tackled by a bystander, but now conflicting reports that he was not apprehended at that particular time. and as jamie just talked about, five other people, including members of her staff were hurt and spokesperson was peter michaels, arizona public media not her spokesperson. ....
